Most bulkheads, dagger board case etc. were made up before assembly of hull panels. | After setting up the cradle: place keel strake into it, located with temporary screws, then the first hull panel. |
Wiring up starts from the stern. | Working towards the stem, which is the tough one to pull into shape. |
Keel strake/hull panel joints pulled in as far as possible. Later these joints will be closed by using a heat gun on the plywood to assist in bending. | Stem still open, transom placed loosely using temporary screws at top. |
Main forepeak bulkhead dry fit. The first gunnel lamination goes on to ensure fairness of sheer line. | Dagger board case and mid bulkhead installed. |
