Both supports made up and a last dry-fitting of the plywood thwart tops. Daggerboard case cantilevers. The top stiffeners are doubled up with tapered timber. Stiffeners and seat supports glue-up.

Note the tapered doublers are located by panel pin and the waste cut off is used to provide square clamping surface. Tapered doublers finished off by rounding. Short stringers for the outboard end glued on.

Stringers for the foredeck glued in using clamps and spreader. Longitudinal deck supports follow.

Thwart top is made up of three ply pieces requiring support for the butt. At this stage with the case firmly positioned the case to bottom joint is glassed. Dry fit of the three ply parts.
16-09-09 16-09-10
Foredeck stringers and longitudinals finished gluing, deck comes later after gunnel has been fitted. Gluing the thwart top on using lots of weights.
