It is convenient to have a simple cradle, in this case made up from a few bits of plank screwed to the table top. The folded up dinghy is then laid into the cradle. | Step one of unfolding |
Raise the topsides and fit a spreader to keep it in the open position. | Preparation for bow transom PVC fit up. To keep the panels in position wooden blocks were hot glued to the plywood and spreaders screwed to the blocks. |

PVC fit up, a hem or tabling was sewn at the top edge. At this stage also sew on three 60mm lengths of 25mm Velcro strip. Note that slits had to be cut at the chines and keel. | Glueing up is as for the chine and keel hinges. |
