This is how the top of the stem is drawn together. Next the transom is fitted. Temporary screws can be used as there is solid timber one can screw into and just a few wire ties are required.

All the main hull panels have been wired up. The bulkheads and daggerboard case are dry fitted. Note that weights are still used to encourage the shell to conform to the intended shape.

A view of the aft seat bulkhead dry fitted. The bow section just past the bulkhead has been filleted and glassed.

The same process repeated at the transom, again only just past the bulkhead. Close up of fillets and glass. Fillets and glass are always applied in one operation while the fillets are still 'wet'.

The fore bulkhead held in place by the hydraulic jack. Pressure could also be applied by wedges off the temporary cross member, but the jack gives better control. View of fore bulkhead after the epoxy has set and jack removed.
