The dg case top will be covered with plywood as extra stiffening. Here the structure is finished by sanding and rounding off. Framing up the side seats. A spreader provides gluing pressure where the seat support fits into the part bulkheads.

Adding cross beams to side seat structure Plywood doublers were glued to foredeck and aft seat top and here the cut out for the inspection hatch has been cut with a circle cutting attachment on the router.

Portside seat top template in progress. All the seat tops cut out and dry fitted. There are only two screws and two panel pins locating key panels, the others interlock. The undersides will next be sealed with epoxy resin and then we are ready to glue them down.
